Media Messaging Workshop
Wilson Hartnell media consultants have designed and will deliver an online bespoke, practical media messaging workshop for businesses and organisations in Co. Tipperary. County Tipperary Skillnet will subsidise this event at 70% with funding from Skillnet Ireland through the Dept of Education and Skills to support Tipperary businesses during this challenging time.
As the Covid-19 crisis continues, the impact on businesses nationwide has been profound. The major towns of Co. Tipperary, which are usually bustling with energy now seem ’closed’ and quiet and there are now regular discussions in the media about the future of businesses in local towns and Ireland’s economy. It is a challenging time for many businesses, with many having to innovate and find new ways to attract new customers and build relationships with existing clients.
Effective media relations and the ability to communicate effectively with existing and potential customers and stakeholders are important ways to grow a business. The success of an organisation’s reputation depends not only on what you do, but also how you communicate what you do. Good media relations and experiences can help enhance an organisation’s reputation.
This workshop will also give participants time to reflect on how their objectives can be achieved through the ‘lens’ of Covid-19 and how their key messages can improve public confidence with reassurances on safety for members of the public.
This Messaging and Media Awareness Workshop will give participants:
- The tools to create simple, coherent messages – that can be used by all – whether in stakeholder meetings, media interviews, networking events or presentations.
- The skills to engage with media effectively
- Proactive PR: Techniques to promote your organization on media
- Reactive PR: Responding to media queries – best practice guidelines
