BA in Early Childhood Education & Care Level 7- Flexible Learning- Subsidised price €1800 PER YEAR- COURSE FULL
This two year part time flexible/ blended learning programme due to commence in September 2019 will be delivered by LIT and is designed to provide a progression route for those currently working in the Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC) sector who wish to further their education to degree level.
Delivery will be in a blended learning format which will include online lectures and tutorials and 8 classroom based workshops per year which will be shared between the LIT Moylish and Thurles Campuses.
Cost of programme for 2 years is €4,500 per learner.
The subsidised cost of the programme through County Tipperary Skillnet (20% funding) is €1800 per year. Payment option below is for YEAR 1 ONLY.
YOU MUST REGISTER WITH LIT FIRST AS THERE ARE A LIMITED NO OF PLACES:
To secure your place an initial deposit of €100 is required. €500 needs to be paid before the commencement of the course on the 21st September ie €600 deposit in total.
Payment by installments can be discussed individually with County Tipperary Skillnet.
This deposit will be deducted from the total subsidised fee of €1800 per year.(Full cost is €2250 per year).If you wish to apply for funding through County Tipperary Skillnet we happy to discuss payment options with you on an individual basis for the remaining €1200 for year 1, this needs to be paid before end of February 2020.
Applicants may apply if they hold a QQI Level 6 (or equivalent) qualification which is recognised by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA) as meeting the criteria for ‘ECCE Room Leader (Standard Capitation)’. Applicants must currently be working in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector and continue to do so for the duration of the course.
