County Tipperary Skillnet in collaboration with County Tipperary Chamber & Deloitte are offering a FREE online Seminar on 'Timely Discussions on Tax and Succession Planning' on the 9th July at 1pm-2pm.
The Seminar looks at opportunities around estate planning, good governance in family run companies and looking at putting Wills and Shareholders’ Agreements in place.
The downturn potentially gives business owners an opportunity to look at issuing shares to family members or key employees and getting other house-keeping up to date in terms of their own succession planning.
Jonathan is a Director in the Private Clients department in Deloitte. He advises on a range of personal and corporate matters including, family wealth and succession matters, succession to family businesses, asset structuring within family companies, corporate reorganisations, as well as shareholder & corporate governance issues. He also advises in relation to stamp duty arising on various transactions including stamp duty on Irish land, Irish corporate transaction, as well as international mergers and acquisitions.
Carmel is a Director in the Tax department of Deloitte dealing specifically with Irish businesses and their owners. Carmel works in Deloitte Limerick. Carmel deals with a broad range of businesses, from the early stage high potential start-ups to well established businesses and advises on all aspects of the business life-cycle. This has included advising business owners on how best to pass on their business to the next generation, how to incentivise key employees to grow the business, how to best prepare for selling a business and how to deal with expansion opportunities.
